Bills Safety Damar Hamlin Cleared To Return To Football

The world held it’s collective breath last year when Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field during the team’s Monday Night Football game in Cincinnati. Now, however, mere months later, the Buffalo Bills safety is ready to take the football field once more.

During an interview at voluntary workouts today, Bills General Manager, Brandon Beane, gave an update on Hamlin’s progress. He stated that Hamlin had visited with three doctors and that they were all in agreement – Damar Hamlin is cleared to return.

“all in lockstep of what this was and he’s cleared to resume full activities just like anyone else. He’s fully cleared and he’s here… He is working out.”

Not only is this fantastic news for Hamlin but it’s come at the perfect time for the Buffalo Bills. While his contact will certainly be limited to begin with, Hamlin has the full off-season program to get ready for game action this coming autumn.

Congratulations, Damar. The world was rooting for you.
