Active WWE Superstars were previously banned from streaming on Twitch, but a new agreement has been reached.
Following a deal between WWE and Twitch, WWE talent is now free to return to Twitch and stream there with “almost no restrictions.”
Twitch and the talent will receive the great majority of the revenue, which will be divided among the three parties.
Superstars have been told they need to simply obtain permission in advance if they want to stream alongside wrestlers from other wrestling organisations.
The announcement seemed to have the talent pleased, as the agreement has been in the works for almost a year.
🚨 It’s official!!!! 🚨

We are BACK!! Where is my #AtoZ Twitch fam?! I can’t wait to be able to stream with all of you again!
Now, not only can you see every EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT on SMACKDOWN.. but a #Twitch screen coming soon! 🖤 pic.twitter.com/pZtaNPv3hT
Talent had previously been ordered to stop running any personal Twitch channels, which notably contributed to Zelina Vega departing the organisation, before returning.
