Weeks after declaring that he would go it alone and pursue a singles career without Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams has won his first singles championship in WWE.
Trick Williams has won the NXT North American Championship after defeating Dominik Mysterio at tonight’s NXT No Mercy event in Bakersfield, California. Mysterio won the North American Championship on July 18th, 2023 and his reign comes to an end after 75 days with the title.
Trick Williams won the NXT North American Championship after hitting Dominik Mysterio with a running knee. That knee drove the title belt into the face of Mysterio after he tried to introduce it to the match while special guest referee, Dragon Lee, was down from an earlier errant Superkick.
